Jasmin Feratović, Slovenian politician, 18 September 1996, Ljubljana.

Feratović holds a degree in economics.[1] In the 2022 parliamentary election, he ran as a candidate of the extra-parliamentary party Pirates, at the time serving as the party’s secretary, in the constituencies Ljubljana Vič–Rudnik I and Rudnik II for a seat in the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia.[2] He received a total of 661 votes, while the party failed to enter parliament with 1.63% of the vote.[3]

In the 2022 local elections, he ran as the Pirates’ candidate for the position of Mayor of Ljubljana. In the election held on 20 November he finished last among all candidates, receiving 1,431 votes (1.62%), but was elected to the Ljubljana City Council as the lead candidate of the party list.[4][5] During his term, Feratović, on behalf of the Pirates, among other things filed a lawsuit against the municipality following the decision of Zoran Janković to reject his initiative for a referendum on the increase in fares of LPP.[6]

In February 2024, the Pirates announced their candidacy in the 2024 European Parliament election, with Feratović running second on the party list.[7] However, since the party collected only 903 voter signatures instead of the required 1,000, the National Electoral Commission rejected the list.[8]

On 7 December 2024, he was elected president of the Pirate Party at the party congress, succeeding Boštjan Tavčar.[9]
