Jared Michael Warth (born September 5, 1986) is an American musician. He is known for being the bassist and unclean vocalist of the metalcore band Blessthefall.
Career
Warth began his musical career in a trio with drummer Matt Traynor and guitarist Mike Frisby in 2002. Traynor, Warth, and Frisby later formed Blessthefall in early 2004 and asked Craig Mabbit to join the band to do vocals. Warth and Traynor have been the only two constant members throughout the band's existence. In 2008, after the departure of Craig Mabbitt, Jared temporarily became the lead vocalist of the band and Aiden Loius toured with the band playing bass for the concerts.[1] After half a year as just the band's vocalist, the band found Beau Bokan (formerly of Take the Crown), who joined the band on September 26, and recorded the band's second studio album, Witness, in 2009. Though many people associate Blessthefall as a Christian band, Warth states it's more like Christians in a band spreading a positive message,[2] though originally they were a Christian band.[3] Warth, along with the rest of the band, were featured on Jarrod Alonge's series of YouTube videos called "Bless The Office". In 2011, the band announced Frisby's departure and the induction of Elliott Gruenberg, formerly of Before Their Eyes and Settle the Sky, and recorded Awakening.[4] Warth has more screaming on Awakening and Hollow Bodies alongside Gruenberg and Bokan.[5]
