Japanese Studies is a triannual peer-reviewed academic journal publishing research on Japan. It is the official journal of the Japanese Studies Association of Australia.[1][2] The editor-in-chief is Carolyn S. Stevens (Monash University).[3][4] The journal was established in 1981 and is published by Routledge on behalf of the association.[5] According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2024 impact factor of 0.4.[6]
