Janai Norman is an American television journalist working at ABC News as a co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend, and as a correspondent for the ABC News network.[1]
Early life and education
Norman graduated from DeKalb High School. Norman graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia.[1]
Career
She began her career as an intern at ABC News in 2011 in New York.[1]
After briefly working at KOKI Fox23, a Fox network affiliate in Tulsa, Oklahoma,[2] she moved to WFTV in Orlando, Florida in 2014. She rejoined ABC News in 2016 as a correspondent and as the host of "POP News" on Good Morning America Weekend and covered stories including the First Trump administration and Capitol Hill.[2]
She was promoted to co-anchor Good Morning America Weekend, succeeding Dan Harris.[3]
Personal life
Janai and her spouse have three children together.[4]
