Iván Alejandro Contreras Araya (born 26 July 2001) is a Chilean footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Provincial Ovalle.
Club career
Born in El Salvador, Chile,[2] Contreras was trained at Colo-Colo and signed with Cobresal in 2020, making his debut in the 2020 Chilean Primera División.[3][4][5] In February 2024, he was loaned out to Barnechea.[6][7]
In 2025, Contreras joined Provincial Ovalle in the Segunda División Profesional de Chile.[8]
Style of play
Contreras can operate as a defensive midfielder, centre-back or full-back.[3][5]
