Huwag Kang Titingin (transl. Don't Look) is an upcoming Philippine horror film. It is directed by Frasco Mortiz and written by Ays De Guzman. The film is a co-production between GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions. The cast is led by Sofia Pablo and Allen Ansay. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas in the summer of 2026.
Premise
The story focuses on a narrative designed for Gen Z audiences.[1] It combines themes of viral internet challenges with Philippine folklore.[2] The plot involves a curse that inverts everything, and the characters must struggle to survive.[3]

Production
Development
The film marks the first collaboration between GMA Pictures and Mentorque Productions.[6] The partnership was officially signed on August 28, 2025, at the GMA Network Center.[5] The contract signing was attended by GMA executives Annette Gozon-Valdes and Nessa Valdellon, and Mentorque President John Bryan Diamante.[2] During the event, the producers discussed combining the resources of a broadcast network with the style of an independent production company.[4] The producers aimed to cast actors who had a strong presence on social media.[1]
Filming
The director, Frasco Mortiz, stated that the film was inspired by Final Destination Bloodlines.[6] Filming was scheduled to begin in September 2025. The production planned to shoot the entire movie in Batangas.[7]
