Huete is a municipality in Cuenca, Castile-La Mancha, Spain. It has a population of 2,097.

During the Spanish Civil War, the municipality was the location of a small hospital where Annie Murray served as one of the nurses.[2]

Historically, Huete was home to a prosperous Jewish community until the expulsion of the Jews.[3] From a case filed after the expulsion by a local Jewish converso, it is known that Huete had a synagogue, reportedly built by him at his own expense.[4]
