The Housing Act 1957 (5 & 6 Eliz. 2. c. 56) was an act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that consolidated enactments relating to housing in England and Wales.[1]

Subsequent developments
The whole act was repealed by section 3(1) of, and schedule 1 to, the Housing (Consequential Provisions) Act 1985, which came into force on 1 April 1986.[3]
