The Himeji Egrets (姫路イーグレッツ, Himeji Īgurettsu) are a Japanese professional basketball team based in Himeji, Hyōgo, Japan. The Egrets compete in the "Future" second division of the Women's Japan Basketball League (WJBL).[1] Founded in 2013, the team's name is a reference to Himeji Castle's nickname, Shirasagi-jō ("White Egret Castle").[2] The team plays its home games at Victorina Wink Gymnasium.
