Hennstedt (German pronunciation: [ˈhɛnʃtɛt]) is a municipality in the district of Dithmarschen, in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is situated approximately 10 km northeast of Heide. Hennstedt is the seat of the Amt Kirchspielslandgemeinde ("collective municipality") Eider.
