Hejlov is a mountain in the Giant Mountains Foothills in the northern Czech Republic. At a height of 839 metres (2,753 ft), it is the highest peak of the foothills.[1][2]
Geography
Hejlov lies in the territory of Jablonec nad Jizerou, in the eastern part of the Giant Mountains Foothills. The Jablonec nad Jizerou's settlements of Bratrouchov, Trejborec and Brno lie in its vicinity.[1]
The mountain rises in one of the highest and most rugged parts of the foothill region around Rokytnice nad Jizerou and Jablonec nad Jizerou. Local roads and tourist routes pass through the surrounding area, linking Hejlov with nearby settlements and viewpoints in the foothills.[2]
