Haruno Sasaki (佐々木 春乃, Sasaki Haruno; born 26 February 1995) is a Japanese handball player for Borussia Dortmund Handball and the Japanese national team.

National team

She participated at the 2017[1] and 2019 World Championships.[2] She also represented Japan at the 2020 Olympics at home.[3]

At the 2022 Asian Championship, she won silver medals, losing to South Korea in the final.[4] In the final, she was the Japanese top scorer with 7 goals.

At the 2023 World Championship she was part of the Japanese team that finished 17th.[5]

At the 2024 Asian Championship she won gold medals with the Japanese team.[6]

She represented Japan again at the 2025 World Championship.[7]
