Gustavo Mariani (born 9 September 1970) is an Argentine businessman and corporate executive. He is the vice-chairman and chief executive officer of Pampa Energía, and has been a member of the company's board since 2005.[1][2]
Education and careers
Mariani was born in Buenos Aires. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Belgrano, a master's degree in finance from Universidad del CEMA, and has held the Chartered Financial Analyst designation since 1998.[3][4]
He joined Grupo EMES (formerly Grupo Dolphin) in 1993 as an analyst and later served as an investment portfolio manager. Before the year 2005, he was chief financial officer of IRSA/Cresud/Alto Palermo. After the principals of Grupo EMES acquired the company that became Pampa Energía in 2005, Mariani joined its board. He was appointed chief executive officer in December 2018.[5][6]
