Guérigny (French pronunciation: [ɡeʁiɲi]) is a commune in the Nièvre department in central France.[3]
History
The commune obtained the 'Cité de Caractère de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté' label in 2021.[4]
As of January 1, 2024, Guérigny is classified as a rural market town ('bourg rural').[5]
