The 73rd Golden Reel Awards, presented by the Motion Picture Sound Editors (MPSE), will honor the best in sound editing for film, television, video games, and student film in 2025. The ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 8, 2026, at the Wilshire Ebell Theatre in Los Angeles.[1][2]
The nominations were announced on January 12, 2026. The thriller drama One Battle After Another, the supernatural horror film Sinners, the television series Stranger Things and the video game Ghost of Yōtei, all led the nominations with three each.[3][4]
American supervising sound editor Mark Mangini will receive the Career Achievement Award, while American actor and American film producer Kathleen Kennedy will be honored with the Filmmaker Award.[5]
