Golden Bay High School (Māori: Te Waka Kura o Mohua) is a secondary school in Tākaka, New Zealand. It is one of two secondary schools in Golden Bay / Mohua; the other one is the Collingwood Area School in Collingwood.
Enrolment
As of October 2025, Golden Bay High School has roll of 310 students, of which 30 (9.7%) identify as Māori.[2]
As of 2026, the school has an Equity Index of 450,[4] placing it amongst schools whose students have average socioeconomic barriers to achievement (roughly equivalent to decile 7 under the former socio-economic decile system).[5]
