Goharbaran-e Shomali Rural District (Persian: دهستان گهرباران شمالي)[5] is in Goharbaran District of Miandorud County, Mazandaran province, Iran. It is administered from the city of Tabaqdeh.[3]
History
In 2010, Miandorud District was separated from Sari County in the establishment of Miandorud County, and Goharbaran-e Shomali Rural District was created in the new Goharbaran District.[3]
Demographics
Population
At the time of the 2011 National Census, the rural district's population was 9,760 inhabitants in 2,997 households.[6] The 2016 census measured the population of the rural district as 9,061 in 3,096 households. The most populous of its 13 villages was Tabaqdeh (now a city),[7] with 2,023 people.[4]
