"Girls Like You" is a song by New Zealand band The Naked and Famous from their debut studio album, Passive Me, Aggressive You (2010).[1] It was released on 5 June 2011 as the album's fourth and final single. A stripped version was released 12 January 2018.[2]

The song was featured in the 2012 film The First Time, as well as in an episode of The Secret Circle and two episodes of Degrassi: The Next Generation.[3]

Music video

A music video was released on 5 July 2012. The video opens with a shot of a large building, and the camera slowly zooms in on one of many windows as others light up in repeated sequences. Just over two minutes into the video, the camera is fully zoomed into the room, where the band can be seen performing various tasks in slow motion, including Alisa Xayalith hanging the single's art on the wall. Once she exits the frame, the camera begins to zoom out again, the video ending with Thom Powers walking towards the camera as the screen fades to black.
