Species

There are two recognized species:[2][3]

  • Gespanna amelieae Zilli, 2020[3] โ€“ Sulawesi
  • Gespanna confirmata (Walker, 1859) โ€“ Sundaland

The Global Lepidoptera Index lists Gespanna pectoralis (Walker, 1864) as the sole species of the genus,[1] whereas Savela's list[2] and Zilli (2020)[3] treat it as a junior synonym of Gespanna confirmata (Walker, 1859).
