George Strangways, was an Oxford college head in the 15th century.[1]
Strangways became a Fellow of Lincoln College, Oxford in 1474 and was elected its Rector in January 1480.[2] He resigned the Rectorship in 1488. He later became Archdeacon of Coventry[3] and was a chaplain to king Henry VII.[4] He is buried at St Michael's Church, Oxford.[5]
