Gabrielle Harbowy is an American author, editor, and anthologist. She is a literary agent at Corvisiero Literary Agency. She has written novels and role-playing games for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Dungeons & Dragons franchises.

Early life

Harbowy received a B.A. from Rutgers University.[1]

Career

Harbowy started her career as a pricing analyst at Scholastic Corporation.[2] She was a submissions editor at Apex Magazine.[3] She was also a copyeditor for Pyr, an imprint of Prometheus Books.[4] Later, she was a managing editor and editor-in-charge at Dragon Moon Press.[5][6] In June 2026, she was promoted to full literary agent at Corvisiero Literary Agency.[2]

Harbowy is also an author, writing science fiction and fantasy novels and short stories.[1] In 2010, her short story "Swimming Lessons" was a finalist in the Parsec Awards.[7] Her book Hellmaw: Of the Essence was the runner-up in the science fiction category at the San Francisco Book Festival in 2016.[8] She has written role-playing adventure games for the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game and Dungeons & Dragons franchises.[1] She also runs Pathfinder and Dungeons & Dragons games at conventions.[2]

She is an active member of the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers, the LGBTQ+ Editors Association, and the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association.[1]
