Frédéric Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault (French pronunciation: [fʁedeʁik aʁno]; born 10 November 1995[1]) is a French businessman who has been the CEO of LVMH Watches since 2024, and the CEO of Loro Piana since 2025. He is the second son of billionaire Bernard Arnault and his second wife, Hélène Mercier-Arnault.

Early life

Frédéric Bernard Jean Étienne Arnault was born in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, the second son of Bernard Arnault and his second wife, French-Canadian pianist Hélène Mercier (b. 1959).[2] His older brother is Alexandre Arnault (b. 1992), the president of Tiffany & Co. in New York City, and his younger brother Jean Arnault (b. 1998) works in the watch division of Louis Vuitton. He graduated from École Polytechnique with a degree in applied mathematics and computer science.[3]

Career

Arnault started his career at LVMH in 2017. Initially, he was the head of connected technologies, followed by a role as strategy and digital director. In 2020, he was appointed CEO of the brand.[4] His previous experience includes working as a lead paramedic during his studies, as well as internships at McKinsey & Company and Facebook.[5][6][7]

He was appointed the CEO of LVMH Watches in January 2024.[8] In March 2025, he was named the CEO of Italian luxury label Loro Piana, with the role starting in June.[9]

Personal life

During his childhood, Arnault was an amateur pianist.[10] He once performed in a concert in Moscow alongside his parents and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra in 2017.[11] He is also skilled at playing the flute.[12] In addition to speaking French and English, he is fluent in German and Italian.[13]

In mid-2023, reports surfaced that Arnault began dating Thai rapper and singer Lisa.[14] In May 2024, they made their first official public appearance.[15]
