The soccer (association football) tournaments at the 2028 Summer Olympics will be held in Los Angeles and other cities of the United States from July 10 to 29, 2028.[1]
Two different tournaments will be held in this sport: men's and women's. Spain is the men's defending champion, and the United States is the women's defending champion.
Competition schedule
The match schedule was released on November 12, 2025, though group stage and quarterfinal match locations have not yet been finalized at this point. All semifinal, bronze medal, and gold medal matches will be contested at the Rose Bowl.[2] A new schedule was released on March 16, 2026 with the start of the men's tournament on July 10, four days before the opening ceremony.[3][4]
