Florence Miailhe (born 1956) is a French animator, most noted for her films The Crossing (La Traversée) and Butterfly (Papillon).[1]

The daughter of painter Mireille Miailhe,[2] she graduated from the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs in 1980, and began her career as a painter, engraver and model maker.[3]
