Father Joe is an upcoming French thriller film written by Luc Besson and directed by Barthélémy Grossmann, starring Al Pacino, Ever Anderson and Kiefer Sutherland.

Premise

In 1990s Manhattan, a priest clashes with a mob boss.[1]

Production

The film is written and produced by Luc Besson and directed by Barthélémy Grossmann. It is produced by LBP (Luc Besson Production) and EuropaCorp. Kiefer Sutherland is also a producer.[2]

The cast is led by Sutherland with Al Pacino and Ever Anderson,[3] Besson's former wife Milla Jovovich's daughter.

Principal photography began in October 2025 in Paris, which stood in for 1990s Manhattan.[4][5]
