Farlowella henriquei is a species of freshwater ray-finned fish belonging to the family Loricariidae, the mailed catfishes, and the subfamily Loricariinae, the armored suckermouth catfishes.[2] This catfish is endemic to Brazil where it occurs in the Araguaia River and Tocantins River basins in the state of Goiás.[1] This species reaches a standard length of 17.5 cm (6.9 in).[3]
The specific name honors Capt. Henrique Silva, who collected the holotype.[4]
