Exoneura rufa, or Exoneura (Exoneura) rufa, is a species of reed bee in the tribe Allodapini. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1935 by Australian entomologist Tarlton Rayment.[1][2]

Description

The body length of the female holotype is 7 mm. The head and thorax are glossy black, the abdomen mostly reddish.[1]

Distribution and habitat

The species occurs in Victoria. The type locality is Heyington in Melbourne.[2][1]

Behaviour

The adults are flying mellivores.[2]
