Fruhstorfer, 1916[1][2][3]

Erysichton is a genus of butterflies in the family Lycaenidae.[2][3][4] The species of this genus are found in the Australasian realm.[3][4]

Etymology

The genus is named after the mythological figure of Erysichthon of Thessaly.

Species

There are up to three recognized species:[2][4]

Some other sources consider Erysichton monotypic, with Erysichton lineatus as the sole species[3][5] and the remaining species in Jameela.[5][6]
