Electoral history of Ajit Pawar
The electoral history of Ajit Pawar (1959–2026) is a record of his career in Indian politics. Representing the Baramati Assembly constituency for over three decades, Pawar never lost an Assembly election from 1991 until his death in 2026. He served as the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra a record six times.

In a historic family battle following the split of the NCP, Ajit Pawar defeated his grandnephew Yugendra Pawar by a margin of over 1 lakh votes.[10]

1991 (By-election)
After vacating the Lok Sabha seat for Sharad Pawar, Ajit Pawar contested the Baramati Assembly by-poll and won with a massive 90% vote share.[12]
