Eda Ra - One Voice, Million Hearts (Sinhala: එදා රෑ) is an upcoming Sri Lankan Sinhala biographical film directed by Aruna Jayawardena and co-produced by Ranil Mallawarachchi, Dr. Arosha Fernando and Chamaka Manjula for One Line Production Entertainment (Private) Limited.[1][2] The film focuses on the life of late singer Milton Mallawarachchi who had a stellar career for three decades as a singer.[3] The film stars Roshan Ravindra in the titular lead role along with Nethmi Roshel, Senali Fonseka, Sheshadri Priyasad, Roshan Ranawana and Saranga Disasekara in supportive roles.[4][5]

Production
This is the fifth film directed by Aruna Jayawardena after Nikini Vassa (2013), Happy Birthday (2022), 1970 Love Story (2024) and Maria (2025). The film is co-produced by Dr. Arosha Fernando and Chamaka Manjula for One Line Production Entertainment (Private) Limited along with Milton Mallawarachchi's son Ranil Mallawarachchi.[3][6] Tharindu Arachchige is the assistant director, whereas cinematography is done by Channa Deshapriya and editing and color grading by Shan Alwis. Screenplay is written by Suneth Malinga Lokuhewa and Priyanath Mallawarachchi.[4]
Buwaneka Ranawaka is the makeup artist, Shasheen Gimhan is the sound manager. Art direction handled by Akuramboda Piyatissa and story by Dhammika Salvathura.[6] Suresh Maliyadda is the music director, where Ranil Mallawarachchi and Milton Mallawarachchi's grandson Pawan Mallawarachchi made the background vocals along with Samitha Mudunkotuwa and Uresha Ravihari.[4][3]
The Muhurath ceremony was held at the Nawaloka Auditorium in Colombo in January 2026.[3][6] Shooting commenced at the Bandaragama Sarvodaya Center and surrounding areas as well as many notable places in Colombo.[4] The film contains five musicals which include 1125 performers. This includes 50 popular actors and actresses in Sri Lanka.[1] The film contains 23 original songs sung by Milton Mallawarachchi.[7]
