Ea Bar is a rural commune (xã[1]) and large village in the Buôn Đôn District of Đắk Lắk Province, Vietnam. The commune covers an area of 26 square kilometres and as of 1999 had a population of 14,407 people.
The commune is located in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam and is part of the rural district of Buôn Đôn, an area known for its ethnic diversity and agricultural activities.[2] Ea Bar lies to the east of the district capital and has road connections linking it with the nearby city of Buôn Ma Thuột and surrounding communes.
