Diego Édison Umaña Peñaranda (born 12 March 1951) is a Colombian football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. He is the current manager of Deportes Quindío's youth categories.

Umaña played in eight matches for the Colombia national football team from 1975 to 1981.[1] He was also part of Colombia's squad for the 1975 Copa América tournament.[2] His son Giancarlo is also a manager.
