Desi Music Factory (DMF) is an Indian music record label and production company[1] founded by Anshul Garg and Tony Kakkar. The company carries its business activities mainly from Mumbai.[2] It is primarily known for Indi-pop music.[3] The channel features content in Hindi and Punjabi language.[4]

YouTube presence

Desi Music Factory joined YouTube on 6 October 2014 and started uploading videos from 8 May 2015.[5] It's another music channel known as Play DMF also features Hindi and Punjabi soundtracks.[6]

Remakes

In 2019, Desi Music Factory's song Coca-Cola Tu was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi for the film Luka Chuppi in the voices of Neha Kakkar and Tony Kakkar.[109] In the same year, DMF's another song Dheeme Dheeme (song)|Dheeme Dheeme was recreated by Tanishk Bagchi with a dance club beat, with Tony Kakkar once again singing the song, with additional vocals by Neha Kakkar.[110] Both the remake songs were released on T-Series (company)|T-Series.[111]

By the end of 2019, Dheeme Dheeme's Turkish version was recreated titled 'Demedim Mi' and this one was composed by Turkish artist Tuğçe Haşimoğlu.[112]
