Derya Bayhan (born 1 November 1996) is a Turkish freestyle wrestler. She won the bronze medal in the women's 58 kg event at the 2016 European U23 Wrestling Championships in Ruse, the bronze medal in the women's 60 kg event at the 2016 World University Wrestling Championships in Çorum, and the bronze medal in the women's 58 kg event at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku.[1][2]
Career
Bayhan has represented Turkey in international freestyle wrestling competitions since her junior years.[3][1] In 2015, she competed for Turkey at the European Junior Championships in the women's 59 kg category.[4]
In 2016, she won the bronze medal in the women's 58 kg event at the 2016 European U23 Wrestling Championships. Later that year, she won bronze at the 2016 World University Wrestling Championships in Çorum and also represented Turkey at the 2016 World Wrestling Championships.[1][2][5]
In 2017, Bayhan won the gold medal at the 2017 Yasar Dogu Tournament in Istanbul in the women's 58 kg category. She later won the bronze medal at the 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku and also competed at the 2017 European Wrestling Championships and the 2017 World Wrestling Championships.[1][6][7]
In 2020, she won the silver medal at the 2020 Yasar Dogu Tournament in the women's 65 kg event.[1][8]
