Daylight Saving is a comedy by Nick Enright about a married couple living in north Sydney. It was one of Enright's most popular works.[1]
Enight called it "a romantic comedy. It's featherweight. And one has all those fears that people will find it trivial. I don't think it's exactly on the ramparts of an experiment; but I'm not going to apologise for that."[2]
The play went through six drafts and a workshopped reading at the Sydney Theatre Company.[2]
The Sydney Sunday Herald called it "swift and diverting entertainment."[3] The Sydney Morning Herald called it "the funniest and wittiest show in towm."[4]
