On November 14, 2025, the division was officially rebranded as S&P Global Energy, with Ernsberger continuing as president.[3]

He has spoken at CERAWeek and has been interviewed by outlets including CNBC and Bloomberg on topics such as oil-price outlooks, geopolitical risks, critical minerals supply chains, and the impact of artificial intelligence and economic expansion on energy demand.[5][6][2][7]
