The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) is the civic body that oversees Cyberabad, within the Core Urban Region Economy (CURE) area of Telangana.[1][2] It is the local government for the city of Cyberabad. The CMC is responsible for civic administration, including urban planning, sanitation, road maintenance, and public health services. It is the richest municipal corporation in Telangana with an area of 637 km2.[3][4] CMC operates from office in National Academy of Construction building in Hi-Tech City. Cyberabad Municipal Corporation is governed by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Act, 1955.[5]
History
CMC was established on 11 February 2026, as part of de-merger of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.[6] G. Srijana assumed the charge as the first municipal commissioner.[7][8]
