Conway van Gelder Grant (CVGG) is a London-based acting and talent agency that represents actors, writers, and performers.
History
The firm was founded by Jeremy Conway and Nicola van Gelder in the 1960s.[1] Van Gelder is known for her strong industry connections and talent-spotting ability. Van Gelder says choosing talent is simple—she represents actors she believes are good—and advises actors to choose agents they trust and feel comfortable communicating with.[2] The agency’s client list boasts more than 350 actors, including notable names like Brian Cox, Jonathan Bailey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Noma Dumezweni, Eddie Izzard, Jack Lowden, and Joanne Froggatt.[3]
Operations
Buildings
CVGG is located in the Strand Bridge House of London. The Strand Bridge House is a refurbished commercial office building located at 138–142 Strand in central London, close to the River Thames and adjacent to Somerset House. The development involved a comprehensive upgrade of the existing building to deliver modern office accommodation and improved facilities within a prominent historic area of the city.[4]
