Background
In September 2025, Nick Khan, the president of the American professional wrestling company WWE, announced that the promotion would be hosting its first-ever pay-per-view (PPV) and livestreaming event in Italy in 2026.[1] On February 18, 2026, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque confirmed the event as Clash in Italy and it would be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, in the Inalpi Arena in Turin. It was also announced that the June 1 episode of Monday Night Raw would eminate from the same venue. Clash in Italy will be held for wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brand divisions.[2]
Broadcast outlets
In addition to airing on traditional pay-per-view worldwide, Clash in Italy will be available to livestream on the ESPN streaming service in the United States, Netflix in most international markets, SuperSport in Sub-Saharan Africa, and Abema in Japan.[3]
Storylines
The event will include matches that result from scripted storylines. Results are predetermined by WWE's writers on the Raw and SmackDown brands,[4][5] while storylines are produced on WWE's weekly television shows, Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown.[6]
