Reception
Variety wrote producer Martin Manulis' "attempt to reaffirm Odets and disprove the critics was a waste, because his best efforts, those of director John Frankenheimer, stars Kim Stanley, Lloyd Bridges, E. ,G. Marshall and a fine supporting cast couldn’t save this tale of love over the kitchen table from being tedious... The first 65 minutes of the tv program were unrelieved dullness. "[3]
