China Horse Club

China Horse Club (CHC) is a thoroughbred racing and breeding operation. It has won high profile races in Australia, Britain, France, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore and the United States.

Among the best known racehorses it has owned in are 2018 American Triple Crown winner Justify;[1][2][3][4][5][6] Kentucky Oaks winner Abel Tasman;[7][8][9] Derby Stakes winner Australia;[10] Life Is Good (Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile);[11][12][13][14] State Of Rest (2022 Prince of Wales's Stakes);[15][16] multiple G1 winner Militarize;[17][18][19] and Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside.[20][21]

Among the best known racehorses it has bred are Saffron Beach;[22] Ozzmosis;[23][24][25][26] Kimari;[27][28][29][30][31] Valiance;[32][33][34][35] Saudi Crown;[36][37] Communist;[26] and Johannes Vermeer who it bred in partnership with Coolmore Stud.

Background

China Horse Club commenced racing operations in 2013 under the leadership of chairman Teo Ah Khing and Founding General Manager Eden Harrington. It has an expansive international partnership network that includes WinStar Farm,[38] Newgate Farm,[39][40][41][42][43] SF Bloodstock,[44][45] Blake Sandblom Pty Ltd, Coolmore Stud,[46][47] Sir Owen Glenn’s Go Bloodstock,[48][49][50] Ballylinch Stud, Qatar Racing,[51][52] David Howden;[51] Vinery Stud,[53] Widden Stud, Trilogy Racing,[54][48] Taylor Made Farm,[55][56] Aga Khan Studs,[57][58] Cressfield Stud and Yarraman Park Stud.[59]
