Cauã Reymond Marques (/kaʊˈɑːn/ kow-AHN; Brazilian Portuguese pronunciation: [kaˈwɐ̃ ˈʁejmõ(dʒi) ˈmaʁkis]; born 20 May 1980) is a Brazilian actor[2][3] and martial artist. He is best known for his television roles in Malhação and Cordel Encantado. His television credits include Belíssima, Passione, A Favorita, and Avenida Brasil.[4]
Early and personal life
Reymond was born in Rio de Janeiro to Denise Reymond and José Marques, and has a younger brother, named Pavel. He is of Swiss, Portuguese and Native Brazilian descent.[5][6]
He has been training martial arts since he was 12 years old and holds a 5th dan black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, in addition to having been a two-time champion before focusing on his acting career.[7][8][9][10]
He has a daughter called Sofia from a former relationship with fellow actress Grazi Massafera.[11]
