Carlos Vergara Leyton was a Chilean politician who served as member of the Chamber of Deputies.[1]
Biography
He was a member of the Conservative Party. In 1947, he served as member of the executive board of his party.[1]
Political career
He was elected deputy for the 7th Departamental Grouping of Santiago for the 1926–1930 and 1930–1934 legislative periods.[1]
He served on the Public Education Commission; Interior Government Commission, as alternate member; and the Labor and Social Welfare Commission, also as alternate member.[1]
The revolutionary movement that broke out on 4 June 1932 decreed, on 6 June, the dissolution of Congress, thereby ending the legislative period.[1]
