Bus route 319 Trainlink

The 319 Trainlink is a bus route operated by Preston Bus in Lancashire, England. The route runs between Skelmersdale and Kirkby.[1]

Operations

The route was launched to link Skelmersdale with Kirkby to provide a link by train to Liverpool.[2]

History

The service launched on the Sunday 22 January 2023 operated by Stagecoach using Enviro 300's.[3]

On the 20 July 2024 the route got transferred to Preston Bus and got brand new Enviro 200mmc's.[4]

Route

The route runs between Skelmersdale and Kirkby operating at a frequency of every 30 minutes on Monday to Saturday and Hourly on a Sunday.[5] The route is operated on behalf Lancashire county council.[4]

Buses

The route is currently run by Enviro 200mmc branded in the Trainlink livery the two buses painted into this livery are YY74 URW and YY74 URV.[6][7]
