Bosara porphyrea is a species of moth in the family Geometridae.[2][3] It is endemic to Taiwan[3] and known from 1,600 m (5,200 ft) above sea level in Fenqihu, Chiayi County.[1]
The wingspan is 15 mm (0.59 in) for the holotype, a male. The wings are reddish brown, the hindwings darker than the forewings.[1]
