Borong ia a town and an administrative district (kecamatan) situated on Flores Island, East Nusa Tenggara Province of Indonesia. The town, which is a port on the south coast of Flores, serves as the administrative capital of East Manggarai Regency. The district covers an area of 177.44 km2 and had a population of 42,600 at the 2020 Census;[1] the official estimate as at mid 2024 was 43,443.[2]
