Bir Singh Judeo

HH Maharaja Sir Bir Singh Judeo Bahadur, KCIE[1] (1864 - 1936) was a ruler of Samthar State from 17 Jun 1896 – 9 Oct 1935, when he abdicated throne due to old age in favour of his son Radha Charan Singh.[2][3] He was knighted KCIE on 3 Jun 1915.[4][5]

Belonging to the Khatana Dynasty of Samthar Bir Singh Judeo Bahadur was a direct descendant of Rajdhar Nune Shah Gurjar and the son of, Maharaja Chhatar Singh Deo Bahadur. Following his legacy, the present head of the Khatana Royal Family of Samthar is his great grandson, Shrimant Maharaja Samarjeet Singh Khatana Judeo.[6]
