Ben Zand

Benjamin Zand (born 2 February 1991) is a British journalist and YouTuber. He has received a AIB award and an RTS award.^[1]

Benjamin Zand grew up in Liverpool. He has referenced his upbringing as being in a "rough kind of aggressive environment".^[2] He attended Bowring Comprehensive School.^[1]

Zand has worked for Channel 4, Discovery Channel, and the BBC.^[1][3][4][5]

While at university, Zand worked for the Edinburgh Evening News and The Scotsman.^[1]

Since September 2025, YouTube has hosted Zand's show Humans.^{[6][7][8][9][10][11][12]}

Much of Zand's work focuses on the manosphere and toxic masculinity^{[13][2][14][15]} and incel-culture such as looksmaxxing^[16] and "gooning" (excessive pornography consumption).^[17] Other topics include serial killer Samuel Little,^[18] QAnon,^[19] whites-only settlement Kleinfontein^[20][21] and musician R Kelly.^[22]

With fellow journalist Stacey Dooley, Zand has launched the podcast Untangled.^[23][24] He also releases The Zandland Show.^[25][26][8]
