Begonia radicans, the shrimp begonia, is a species of flowering plant in the genus Begonia, native to southeastern and southern Brazil.[2] It is an epiphyte with a trailing/scandent growth habit.[3] The vines are reddish in color and hairless, with glossy green, prominently veined leaves. When it flowers (usually between January and April) it gets large clusters of bright red flowers.[4] It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.[5]
