"Beat It" is a song by American singer Sean Kingston, featuring from fellow American singer Chris Brown and rapper Wiz Khalifa, released on April 15, 2013 as the second single from Kingston's third studio album, Back 2 Life (2013).[1] It was written by Kingston and Khalifa themselves, as well as Omari Akinlolu and the song's producer, Nicholas "Nic Nac" Balding.
The song moderately entered Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 52, and peaked at number 17 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. It is Kingston's final entry on a Billboard chart as of 2026.
Music video
A music video to accompany the release of "Beat It" was filmed on March 23, 2013, in Malibu. The video was released on YouTube and Vevo on April 29, 2013, at a total length of four minutes and sixteen seconds. The video features Kingston, Brown, and Khalifa partying poolside at an estate, and features a guest appearance by NicNac, the producer.[2]
